- Account information: When you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and Google profile picture.
- Profile data: Any additional information you add to your profile, such as a display name or bio.
- Debate content: Arguments, messages, and other content you create during debates.
- Communications: Messages you send to us via email or support channels.
- Payment information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, debate participation history, time spent on the Platform, referral sources.
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Session cookies, preference cookies, and analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Log data: Server logs that record requests, timestamps, and error information.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Google: Profile data provided through Google OAuth (name, email, profile image).
- Stripe: Subscription status and payment confirmation (no full card numbers).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the Platform: Authenticate your identity, host debates, display profiles and leaderboards, calculate ELO rankings.
- AI fact-checking and scoring: Your debate content is processed by AI models (including OpenAI) to generate real-time fact-checks and argument scores. This processing is essential to core Platform functionality.
- Improve the Platform: Analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and develop new features.
- Communications: Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets), product updates, and promotional messages where you have opted in. We use SendGrid for email delivery.
- Billing: Process subscription payments and manage your billing history through Stripe.
- Safety and compliance: Enforce our Terms of Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies

We retain your account information and debate content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax purposes). Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and Platform improvement.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Export your data in a portable format.
