• Payment information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, debate participation history, time spent on the Platform, referral sources.
• Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution.

• Log data: Server logs that record requests, timestamps, and error information.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google: Profile data provided through Google OAuth (name, email, profile image).
• Stripe: Subscription status and payment confirmation (no full card numbers).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the Platform: Authenticate your identity, host debates, display profiles and leaderboards, calculate ELO rankings.
• AI fact-checking and scoring: Your debate content is processed by AI models (including OpenAI) to generate real-time fact-checks and argument scores. This processing is essential to core Platform functionality.
• Improve the Platform: Analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and develop new features.
• Communications: Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets), product updates, and promotional messages where you have opted in. We use SendGrid for email delivery.
• Billing: Process subscription payments and manage your billing history through Stripe.
• Safety and compliance: Enforce our Terms of Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We retain your account information and debate content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax purposes). Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and Platform improvement.
